Private Swim Lessons
Private Swim Lessons
Ages 4 & Up
Private swim lessons are taught by our experienced American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors. Each private lesson series includes four 30-minute individual lessons.
Private lessons are offered during the Fall, Winter, and Spring at the East Hartford Middle School Pool. Lessons may be offered during open swim, lap swim, or concurrently with other programs. Private lessons allow the instructor to focus solely on the individual needs, goals, and abilities of the student.
Cost:
- East Hartford Residents: $120 per series
- Non-Residents: $215 per series
Those interested in private lessons must complete and submit the Private Lesson Intake Form below to be added to our waitlist. Forms may be submitted to Jess DiBattista at jdibattista@easthartfordct.gov.
Intake forms are processed by program session in the order they are received. Once a program session is fully booked, we will continue accepting intake forms and add individuals to the waitlist for the next available program session.
Please note:
- Only one intake form per person may be on file at a time.
- Once you have scheduled a series of lessons, you may submit a new intake form to be added to the waitlist for your next series.
- When your intake form is being processed for scheduling, we will contact you by email.
- Due to the high demand for private lessons, you must respond to our scheduling email within 48 hours.
- If we do not receive a response within 48 hours, we will move on to the next person on the waitlist and remove you from the current waitlist.
- If you are removed from the waitlist, you will need to complete and submit a new intake form to be considered for a future session.
